Rolex Daytona 16528, dated 1989. This yellow gold Zenith-era Daytona features the highly collectible “Floating Cosmograph” dial, an early dial variation where the “Cosmograph” text sits slightly separated from the main Daytona wording. This detail adds significant collector interest and gives the watch added importance within the Zenith Daytona line.
The reference 16528 was among the first automatic Daytona models, powered by the legendary Zenith-based movement that helped shape the modern Daytona. With its yellow gold case, vintage-modern appeal and desirable early dial configuration, this is a serious collector’s watch and a standout alternative to later Daytona references.
